Focused on nationwide investments that enable rural and underserved communities to expand, American Lending Center (ALC) arranges loans and works with developers on projects, such as hotels and retail spaces. Operating under the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) rules, American Lending Center provides foreign nationals a pathway to permanent residency status through EB-5 investment loans.

 

American Lending Center financed and funded the Partake Collective, a project in Long Beach that reached completion in late 2022. The project represents ALC leader John Shen’s solution to the economic damage suffered by local restaurateurs due to the pandemic and inroads made by online food delivery firms. A third-generation ghost kitchen, it allows chefs to prepare food for delivery and pickup customers and includes a retail space, dining hall, and meeting rooms. Situated in the art-centered East Village commercial zone, the investment property meets Gold LEED sustainability standards. It provides job opportunities to underrepresented communities, highlighting the local area’s diversity and culture.

 

The ALC team has also overseen projects in dense urban areas, such as the AC Hotel by Marriott on Manhattan’s 6th Avenue. The 30-story property, launched in 2021, offers visitors 168 rentable units, an expansive meeting space, and a business center.
